I consider a civilization in the most basic way to be a culture living in permanent settlement with agriculture, established trade and a form of government.
At most half of my ancestry came from Nubia/kush who formed a civilization between 7,000 - 4,000 years ago.
Nubian neolithic revolution roughly 7,000 years ago
Cultural identity formed around 6,000 years ago
First Kingdom formed around 4,000 years ago
The expanding Sahara desert coupled with Islam has regressed them allot today though.
