this is to advise smokers how long they should wait before coming into a home living area after finishing a cigarette. a smoke odour trail has certainly been noticed by non smokers within the 30-60 sec (which remains in the room for an hour or more) but it could be longer. how long before you are reasonably free, anyone know?
