I did have a breakout, however the sores were not open. I am very worried about this. I assumed that oral & genital herpes were different viruses, and that HSV-1 could not be passed through oral sex. But I did some research and discovered that I was wrong. What I want to know is: If the sores just appeared that day, and were not open at all, what are the chances of him getting HSV-2? I feel like crap for my dumb assumption. Please answer ASAP.
