I have a 20g tank with a fluval 405 and fluval 4 with atleast 40kg worth of ocean rocks and i also have a 20g sump tank underneath and finally i also have an extra powerhead in there to give extra current. But the only thing is i have 25 jevenile african cichlids (sorry i dont know there names but i go to a trusted dealer and he assured me that all the africans i have are all compatible) and yes i know i have overstocked these fishes but i think my setup should be able to handle it but once they are too big for my tank im going to move them over to a 350 jewel corner tank.
Asking the more experinced fishkeepers, what do you rate my chances of all my africans surviving? and is there anything else you recommend me doing inorder to help longer their life spam?.
BTW i got all my africans about 1cm each and now have all grown to a size of roughly 2''(i was told theses ones get to about 7/8''). I have noticed the dominant fish starting to bully the others but does not chase them for too long but when he does he chases them for quite a while and i also noticed a fish with the tip of its fins gone and that is all other than that no other problems.
I was also thinking of puttin an extra 5 more jeves but slightly bigger...
I've got all malawis in there and we given 2 me by my bro as he is a breeder. . All my water condition is near enough perfect 4 then and I also do a 1g water chang everyday.
And incaae u didn't read when dey get to big for the tank I will b movin dem over 2 a bigger tank
