How is this idea for a story?

It's a story where a girl is thrust into a strange, psychic land, and encounters a malevolent group of people who are trying to obtain information from other people's minds to create a dangerous, fourth dimension of the psychic world.

Their goal is actually to obtain information from this girl's subconscious to create this new dimension, and the girl must stop this from happening, using her own psychic powers.

Let me know if it's lame, or confusing.
Lame and confusing in a good way? lol that's hard to imagine
