I was talking with a friend of mine last night and he brought up a good point. He said that most of the world`s art was inspired by religion or the supernatural. As an Atheist, I wrote a poem explaining my view. It is called Prisoner of Thought. Tell me how it is. Thanks in advanced.
As a prisoner of thought I am always stressing.
Many times over I ask the question.
What is life? What is love?
What is peace? It must be greater than a dove.
If this was it, all there was.
No down below, no way above.
I would still worship, and it would be love.
Love is one thing that is always true.
No matter whether there is or there is not a man in the blue.
