I recall the Alfas from the sixties, in particular the Spider Veloche of "Graduate" fame. It was still the era of carbureators and (generally) poor automobile craftsmanship around the world (Jaguars, for example, truly sucked). A friend's family had a Spider, bought brand new, and it was always in the shop. It had so little ground clearance (like today's Corvette) that taking it anywhere was a massive risk.
Alfa is coming back to the U.S. Does anyone have experience with modern Alfas? The old ones looked so wonderful; are the ones built today as good as they look?
