How is the child seat restrained wrong in the new Toyota commercial?

On YouTube, there are comments saying the new Car Wash commercial has the child's seat restrained wrong.

How is it restrained wrong? I'm not at all knowledgeable, seeing as I neither have children nor transport them.
 
I saw that commercial and knew something wasn't right but yeah the chest clip isn't at arm pit length and the part in between his legs aren't connected. he's obviously an older child and couldn't be properly restrained they should have just used a booster seat.
 
I see 2 problems...

1st. the crotch strap is not latched between the child's legs
2nd. the connector at the chest is not at armpit height
