how is the blackberry storm?

i can upgrade to a new phone next month and i was wondering how the blackberry storm was. i already own a blackberry and i love it. i was also wondering how the touch screen was on the storm.
is there any other phone you would recommend, i'm sticking with the verizon network. thanks!
