How is the Aim Client?

How is the Aim client for the s60 devices? I am looking to switch over from my blackberry 8700 to the e61i when it comes out.

I am most interested in the new message notification. On the blackberry with yakon, I could be reading an email or browsing the web and a pop up would come up saying I had a new IM.

In addition, if the phone was in the holster, the blackberry LED would blink red.

Ive used Agile with my Dash, but was disappointed with the msg notification. I think this was a limit of the OS though.

If you are willing to pay for it, Agile works great for this on S60. It pops up what looks like a 'banner' that scrolls at the top of your screen saying "New Message from x"

i use agile and i love it. it has vibrate alert and scrolling message alert. they have the lifetime subscription back now so its a "little" cheaper than when they had the month by month.

i recommend it.
