how is anything alive if life is made up of non living particles ?

were made up of atoms.... atoms are non living, so how are we alive, and what is technically alive... its more of a bunch of chemical reactions of elements and particles. so how is this life
 
Life is surprising hard to define, and there is no universally accepted definition. For example, some people consider viruses alive and some people don't.
