We depend on oil for plastics, gasoline and modern society. Electricity is another matter. How can we diversify our energy sources at the moment. Half of Spain's electricity production comes from renewable sources. Why can't the U.S get on the bandwagon. Also Spain requires all new buildings to have solar panels. Can't we turn prime desert into solar farms?
