How I can cover credit cards?

I am residing in UAE. 3 years ago I lost my job, the reason in the termination letter is due to structure of the Department.This is was my first day after maternity leave. Since that time I had 4 credit cards and two loans. Loans I finished already, but credit cards still I am paying. Now my husband also lost a job, and I cannot pay anymore. That time 3 years ago I went to the Ministry of Labour and they told me that the reason for termination illegal so I can open case, but in the same time they advise me to forget about my employer as the case will take maybe many years. I want to ask can I ask the banks for an insurance to cover my credit cards or not. I have a termination letter from my x-employer. After the termination until now I cannot find any suitable job.
Pls advise.
