A dolphin jumps with an initial velocity of 12 m/s at an angle of 40.0° above the horizontal. The dolphin passes through the center of a hoop before returning to the water. If the dolphin is moving horizontally when it goes through the hoop, how high above the water is the center of the hoop?

I got 14.43 but that doesn't seem to be right, could someone please help me. I know the velocity at the highest point is 0 but im not sure were to go after that.
sorry about the title, its late... its how hight was....

Verticale component of velocity = v sin 40 = 12 x 0.64 = 7.7 m/s
=>v^2 = u^2 - 2gh
=>h = u^2/2g [ v=0]
=>h = 7.7 x 7.7/ 2 x 9.8 = 59.29/19.6 = 3.0 m
