How horrific is it all the children that are immediately put on Drugs like Addheral?

I think that this is seriously depressing and terrible. How many kids are immediately prescribed this drug?

At this point, if so many kids NEED this strong drug according to their doctors, there must be a serious genetic defect going on.

Of course, I know that isn't true. So, what's up with this?
