How has your mental illness affected your life?

It pisses me off when people are like I have these mental illnesses and they have still had no issues in there life and it hasn't affected their lives.. And then there are those people who are like trust me I have issues too and they are referring to stupid drama like that girl who is my best friend talked about me.
I am bipolar and ADD.
*I had trouble going to school because my anxiety and I was in and out of hospitals.
*My friends can only bear my extremes for so long and then they ditch me.
*My family is very close with each other... to bad they all hate me and refuse to talk to me.
There is a lot more but I would like to hear how it has affected your life!

I was anorexic and bulimic (now I have a phobia of dentists) I also have depression and cut myself. I told a good friend who wasn't a good friend at all and spread rumours around the school about me and now I have new friends and a new life but I can't tell anyone about anything because I have problems with sharing private things. Some people tell me I have 'Bi-Polar or something' but I'm not sure. Its quite a long story but thats basically it xx
