Why is the Middle Passage Important? I need a pretty simple answer to each. 1 or 2 lines. This will be on a quiz coming up. Just finding it hard to simplify an answer. Thanks.

because many african slave died on that ship.

i Just had a test on that today =D

yay im a junior...

but The middle passage was a 6-10 week journey to the Barbados.
They didn't feed them or they didn't take baths. They didn't have much room to move around. although fish flew on board, they were not allowed to eat it. some snuck and ate some but was later cought. Many died of different diseases which lead to 2 million people dyeing through the middle passage. when they reached the Barbados, they were then sold. ouladah equiano was a man on that ship and if you read his short story. it gives you details and facts about how it was on the ship in the middle passage and how they were treated

hope i helped.
