I was suspeneded and banned from my prom and graduation over a "Not Guilty" T shirt I wore to school in April - The school officials had 4 others and I cited with a harassment charge because of these shirts - We went in front of a Judge and he said that it was our right of free speech and that these shirts were not against the dress code and not a crime - he dissmissed the case with a Not Guilty verdict... Those shirts were a expression on me being not guilty with a classmate of mine - They were not vulagr or lewd - They were not against the dress code
Also the police officer in the case cited us with a harassment charge of a kick/shove/push/annoy/threathen the victium - when you have to do 4 out of the 5 to be cited with the charge and we did none of those - is that a lawsuit also? That will be in our records even though it was dissmissed --
I want to know if i have a good case with sueing the school district for violating my free speech right and for also taking away my prom and graduation which i can never get back - scared for life with that and that fact that i can never tell my kids about my senior prom or me walking for graduation is dreadful to even think about - Have have chills thinking that i worked so hard to walk with my classmates and dance with them for the final time before we seperated and i could not... Do I have a good case? And references for lawyers?

Get the New Media involved, and get a lawyer, if the Judge found nothing wrong with it, they need to honor his decision, he is the Judge. Get a good reporter out from a TV station, tell the reporter and show the reporter, the verdict , from Court. I think you can win this. If the media involvement does not make them change their minds, it could take a while and you might still miss the prom etc., but a lawyer could sue and get your college money.
