I got the Haynes repair manual from the library and it isn't too descriptive.
I'm searching online for resources (videos, pix, etc) but would appreciate any help at all.

Thanks for everyone's responses. It's an electric mirror, and the steps in Haynes are fairly simple:
1) lower window, then pry off mirror trim cover
2) disconnect eclectical connector from the mirror
3) remove mirror retaining nuts and detach mirror from the vehicle
4) installation is the reverse of removal
Seems to simple! I'm not a car guy, but the dealer wanted $380 for the job ($220 for the mirror + $160 labor). I found an OE mirror for $119 and would like to try it if I'm not going to be in over my head...
