I am eighteen and I have worked at Wendy's now for two years and our GM has decided to promote me to a Shift Manager. I accepted this promotion because I knew it would be good experience for my degree(once obtained). I start college next week and I am a commuter. I am going for a Degree in General Business and I am so afraid that I will not succeed because of the added stress at Wendy's with my management position. I have already had a talk with my GM and she is willing to work with me on my scheduling, but I am also expected to be there when needed, because of my position at our store now. I just really need answers. Is there anyone who is or has been in a similar situation as I am? I just really want to know if I will be able to handle the course load with my job and being a commuter student. Also, I graduated with honors from my high school with a 3.8 G.P.A. if that tells you the type of student i was. Please, any anwers would be great. I'm just so stressed out and worried about this.
