How hard is it to get winter olympics tickets on the day of the event?

To anyone who has been to any Olympics: I am going to my first Olympics in Vancouver in 2010. The first wave of tickets go on sale next week, and I'm probably going to buy some then. But once I'm in Vancouver, how difficult is it to get tickets to an event on the fly? If I wake up one morning and really want to watch a curling event I don't have a ticket for, are they hard to come by? And how does one go about doing that? Thanks in advance
 
never been to the winter olympics; but for the summer olympics practically impossible.....the only way to get tickets on the fly the day of an event is to find a scalper, and who knows how much they'll be selling it for.....again my experience is from the summer olympics (specifically track and field)
