I am not familiar with jobs associated with journalism or photography in the Navy as I was in the black gang.
Navy schools are some of the best and there are many opportunities available. They will help to preparer you for a Navy career or prep you for your return to civilian life once your tour is over.
Very difficult, regardless of your ASVAB. That is what I wanted to do when I got in, but the positions (rates) were so full (closed) that I had no hope of ever getting promoted (making rank). As such I became an SK (storekeeper) which I ended up enjoying just fine, and got my GI Bill out of it. Good luck!
