It was definitely worth it, at least for me. The thing is, it's very personal, almost like memories, for some fans. If you've never heard of Wizard Rock or going to conventions or fansites, you won't get it. It's not really about the history of the books of Harry Potter but the history of how great this fandom is. I loved it!

I am a HUGE Potter fan and I just bought the new book Harry, a History from Amazon!!!!!!
I'm really excited, and for those of you have read it, please tell me how good it is, and if it was worth the money. And if you could also please tell me how long it takes to get a book delivered from Amazon. Thanks so much! So excited for it! Can't wait!

Well... as a Canadian, I'd say Amazon delivers to me in 3-4 days, max. As for the book itself, I've seen it lots of times in bookstores, but never read it... wish I could share an opinion! :)

What a coincidence, I'm reading it at this exact moment!!
It really is worth your money. Melissa Anelli has a humorous way of writing about the already hilarious fandom happenings that she's writing about. It's just a really wonderful insight into what it really was like to be a part of the original fandom. I thought I was a great fan, but I read this and realized there are people far more insane than I am!!! It really is good.
