So, i sold my wow account about 5 weeks ago
gave the guy
first/last name
account name
password
secret word
everything but the email which he said he would want a few weeks from the trade date
about 1-2 weeks ago i switched over the email
and when i got home today i received an email from pay pal saying he didn't authorize the payment and wants all the money back
i called pay pal and the opened up a fraud investigation and they told me that within 10 days i would get an email saying whose fault it was and if i would have to refund his payment
looking back at the pay pal email, and the email i just switched the wow account too
i think the person who i received the money from was not the Owner of the pay pal account.
my question is
how good is pay pal at finding who is at fault, and if it wasn't the Owner of the pay pal account am i accountable for the money, or is he?
