My Odyssey 05's transmission gives a minor shake (not always) around 60km/h and 80km/h while accelerating very slowly. My Honda mechanic, who I trust, is saying it may be the transmission and suggesting me to replace it before my extended comprehensive coverage ends. Here my concern is, the transmission will be exchanged with a Honda Rebuild one. I would like to know, if it will be a good decision to replace the transmission with the rebuilt one, thought rebuild is done by Honda. At this point, my current one is good except the intermittent short shake. It is smooth and responses fast.
Please advise, if I should replace it with the Honda refurbished one?

My Honda dealer says, it will be a Honda rebuild and Honda does not out source it to anybody to rebuild. Its Honda certified personnel who rebuilds the transmission and also it comes with 1 year 20k warranty. So what do you think? I am still not 100 percent assured.
