I'm starting bicycle crunches every day so my abs will get stronger, I started yesterday. I can do 30 at a time, but my abs hurt pretty bad for a few seconds when I try to relax after I'm done. I don't know if that's fine, or if I'm doing too many.
If I do them once a day every day, how long should it take to notice a difference in my ab strength? How many should I work up to? I don't want to do too many because I'm a girl and I don't want too much muscle definition.
And will it improve my riding much?
Also any other exercises I could do (and how many reps) would be greatly appreciated.
