How gnutella ultrapeers manage leaf ip address

Hi,

I am new to this forum and am not sure whether this query should be posted here. If not, please let me know the appropriate place

I want to know how exactly the ultrapeers in Gnutella maintain the information about the leaf peers connected to them. I understand that the hashed contents of the leafs are maintained in the ultrapeers but is the IP address of the leafs maintained in the ultrapeer as well ? If so, exactly how is this done ?
