Lets take for example one of my families businesses. We employee around 50 people.

Weve been loosing around $100,000 a year, but my family eats it and keeps it open anyways.

We do not, however, provide healthcare. Our payroll is around $1,000,000 a year. So even though we're just trying to stay alive....and provide jobs for others...

If Universal Healthcare is implemented, we will have an additional $90,000 a year in taxes.

Thats double the losses every year. How generous do they think businessmen are? How many businesses are just job providers for others? Will businessmen eat 9% of payroll?

Id say millions more in job losses.
"A proposal in the House calls for employers with a total payroll above $250,000 to offer health insurance to their workers or face a surtax of as much as 8 percent."

Thats an 8% payroll tax. Not a profit tax.
