also how flush against horses cheeks should the rings be? i have a feeling our snaffle bit on our horse (14.1hh) is too big, he was purchased recently and came with his own full size bridle ( may be bit too big as it is done up all on the last holes and can not go any tighter) .. when turning sometimes (not always) it looks like half the bit is coming out the other side of his mouth and the other sides D-Rings look like its going to pull into his mouth.. any suggestions? also we are having someone come and have a look in two weeks time, just thought i would ask in case anyone would know between now and then.
