How far do you have to drive to see a professional sporting event?

I've got nothing closer than a 4-5 hour drive:

Chicago is 250 miles.
Minneapolis is 275 miles.
St. Louis is 285 miles.
 
I have flown. It is so nice to take in a sporting event while on a trip somewhere.

Now if the tickets to Wimbledon was affordable or even possible, I would consider flying to London or France this spring.

About 25 minutes in good traffic. That's how long it takes for me to see the Memphis Grizzlies-wait! You said "professional" sporting event. Never mind. We all know the Grizzlies are not a professional team.
 
Good traffic, 30 minutes, downtown Dallas for the American Airlines Center (Dallas Mavericks), or in Arlington for the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.
