I have a website and have been making sales for almost 5 years. But thus far my volume of sales has been too low to be considered more than a hobby.
I think I am finally getting close to the point where I should apply for a business license. Could anyone give me any information? Specifically, would a program like Quickbooks automatically take care of any records I need to keep and calculate how much I owe in taxes?
Also, I am in Wood County Texas. I earn money from several websites, so I think I need to get some sort of "Doing Business As" thing. ... What kind of fees are associated?
I already have a full time job. If this is going to be too time consuming, I would rather just cut back on how much time I spend promoting.
