how easy is it t backpack around southeast asia?

im 18 and i want to backpack solo around southeast asia next fall for one or two months maybe longer. how difficult is it? i want to travel through a few different country's: vietnam, thailand, cambodia, burma and maybe malaysia. is it easy to get from country to country. im thinking i will travel by train. what should i know to help me prepare for my trip?
 
Not a good idea unless you have a death wish. It's not safe to travel outside of major cities alone.There are problems with bandits and worse. You'd also have problems with visas. What you should know is it's not a bright idea. Chances of being robbed or killed would be very high.
