how early do you think i'd have to get to a ny rangers game to meet the players?

i know you can meet them either early before the game or later after the game. considering i'm going to a monday night game and i have school the next day i dont think i'd be able to meet them at night. but how early would i have to get there to catch them going into the garden if the game starts at 7?
