How does your school celebrate Balck History Month?

Okay so I go to a school where they don't celebrate Black History Month what so ever, I mean on the first of February they say it is Black history Month but they don't inform the students on what it is. I am now Class president and want to celebrate Black History the right way! I am a young, black, female and students already think because of this and the fact that I am their president that I should improve the schools ignorance. It annoys me how my school ignores Black History Month but will transform the school on, Cino de Mayo and stuff (No offence).

But how does your school celebrate Black History Month?
What are some good ways to get people involved in knowing what Black History is?
What are some lunch activities our school can have?

OPTIONAL: And if you are in the SUSD can you put your school? At the next meeting I would like to inform my other officers how other schools celebrate.
