Hi there, i am going to university in a couple of weeks and i am trying to set up a webcam so that i can talk to my parents. I have recently purchased a laptop and it has a webcam built in along with a microphone, although i do not known if this will work for chat? Also i am planning to buy a webcam for the home computer that also has a microphone built in. If i download either yahoo or wondows messenger will i be able to chat normally with my parent or will i have to use a headset to talk with them? i have never used a webcam before and so i dont know how to set this up hence why i am intrigued.
