im from the UK and im just wondering how the american school system works, like we have; primary school (4yrs-11yrs) > high school (11yrs-16yrs) > college (optional 16yrs-18yrs) > university (optional whenever you want to join) and america has so many different levels..
reason im interested is i wanna be a teacher when im older, and specifically in the vicinity of New York, so somewhere like New Jersey or something. + also the teachers are called 'coach' and i would want to be specialising in football (soccer), would that be possible or would i have to be able to teach american football aswell or something?
any help please?
