How does the US Army tape test work?

Well I'm trying to join the Army, but I need to get my BMI down.

I don't want to keep having to go into the recruiting office to check it.

Does any one know how they calculate the weight, height, hip, waist and neck for females??

I'd love some help.

the army's tape test is pretty innacurate, ive known people who would have tested in the 40% area but passed only because they had neck fat lol. if you want a good way to quickly tell your fat % then go to GNC and get a $30 BMI monitor.
