how does the ocean kayak malibu two compare to the caper both going to be used for fishing what i want to know is the speed, stabilty, dry ride, etc i know the malibu two is also tandom but most of the time i will be single i just like the option or is it not worth the option if its goin to be used single most of the time thanks

The Malibu is a barge and will not be very maneuverable for one paddler. Of course if all you are going to do is sit and fish that is not such a big deal so that's up to you. The biggest headache will be hauling it -- carrying and loading it on the car alone is a pain with a boat over 60 lbs. The 45 lbs Caper will be a lot simpler to deal with since you mostly go out alone.

These are recreational sit-on-tops so speed and dry ride are NOT an option, I'm afraid. They are slow and stable on calm water -- that's about it. The ride will always be wet and they are balky to paddle due to the width and barge-like hull shape. If you want speed and dry ride you need to look at longer, narrower, sit inside touring boats,
