How does the media portray interracial relationships?

I recently noticed in the media that

White men are often paired with Asian women, but Asian men aren't paired with White women. Also, Black men are paired with White women
but Black women aren't paired With white men.

Have you guys noticed the same thing? And in what movies/tv shows/etc.? I'm very interested in doing research on this issue..............
