How Does The Media Portray Community Cohesion In Britain?

Hey all,

I am doing some research for my Religious Education class at school, and we have been asked to answer this question by research. I was just wondering whether anyone here knew one of the ways to answer this question, for example: how is community cohesion portrayed on TV, or in books or in the newspapers? I do plan on answering this question myself, but I was just wondering whether anyone here had any examples that could help me.

Many Thanks,

depends what sources you go to

here in america, all we ever hear about regarding community cohesion is that the government is passing laws and banning people from entering Britain because it fears the muslim population will break out into murderous riots at the drop of a hat

but all they ever actually say is that the people being banned are horrible horrible reprehensible people

you have to go to british papers to get the full story, it SOUNDS like places like london are on the verge of uprising by native brits over its disenfranchising government.

appeasement happy governments at its best
