The power (watts) of sunlight per square meter, yard or foot decreases as the angle of sunlight increases from straight overhead. The equation for calculating the power of sunlight is an integral equation that I don't remember.
 
how does the intensity of sunlight differ at different angles?
and how is it calculated if the measure of the angle is given?
