I think I'm going to write a book, and I just started writing, and this is all I have so far:
She was beautiful. She was smart. She was sexy. She was rich.
But did he want her?
No.
Of course. The one guy that Amelie Stevens wanted most, more than any guy she’s ever met, any movie star, singer, model, anyone. Any other guy would have wanted to be with her. But Lucian Richardson did not.
He was gay.
The word “gay” is only one of the many ways to describe Lucian.
He was beautiful. He was smart. He was sexy. He was rich. Just like Amelie, except there was so much more to him than that.
He was every girl’s dream guy. He could get any girl he wanted. He was charming and friendly and well mannered. You never saw him being rude or unkind to anybody. Everybody in New York City seemed to be charmed by him. He was magical.
Amelie didn’t understand why Lucian would pick guys over girls when all he was doing was limiting his choices. But not by a lot, because when it was said that Lucian was magical, it was true.
Lucian had the power to turn straight guys gay, (or bisexual at least) and gay girls straight.
Amelie was almost the same way. While Amelie could have almost any guy she wanted, she of course did was not magical like Lucian. She was drop dead gorgeous, of course, but she just wasn’t as charming. She envied Lucian at times for this.
Amelie had just always assumed that her and Lucian were meant to be together, considering they were best friends since they were 2, and their parents were best friends. It made perfect sense, right?
Wrong.
Lucian had to go mess up fate by being gay, and there was nothing Amelie could do about it. She was used to being in control. She was hardworking and passionate about getting what she wanted.
But this, this was beyond her control.
As in Lucian’s sexuality, and her feelings for him.
Tell me if you think it's good. And would you keep reading it? And how do you like the names "Amelie" and "Lucian"?
I picked the names because I wanted them to be memorable and unique. They're french names, lol
Amelie is supposed to be self centered and a bit rude to other people sometimes, and even Lucian were straight, he wouldn't like her as more than a friend because of that reason and because they have too much in common.
