It is pathetic that 8 generations removed from slavery we are still using it as an excuse for Black failures. You will notice that cultures that take direct responsibility for their current behavior are the ones living a successful life. Those that don't need to go back 8 generations to explain their current failure.

Well it is still prevelent today even in america, and the fact that the civil war freed slaves has changed the way that it is dealt with today, even in other countries. Since women in slavery as well as children in middle eastern and eastern countries it is being more under the microscope and in the public image due to celebrities. It has effected the way we look at personal freedoms human rights and the way we look at other countries that don't have laws against it.
