I have been gold mining in the Sierra's. The objective was to dig down to bedrock to the base of three trees evenly spaced sticking up out of the gravel in the creek bed. On November 13th still moving gravel by hand, I discovered that it is a giant GOLD TRAP from the 1800's. The bottom is still intact. It had been covered up by the tailing's from perhaps the richest placer diggings in the State. I have not been able to dig it out because of the rains washing more rocks down the creek where I am working. On September 13th I found a 1.73 oz nugget less than 10 feet from the gold trap. It's kind of a real time Indiana Jones thing. I was thinking maybe someone might be interested in filming the cleaning out of the gold trap. It is in the Auburn Ca. area. The main reason I have been doing this work is for the seed money to create a non-profit Foundation. I put the cart before the horse, just to see if what was in the cart had any value. Do a search on Preventing Drug Abuse or Prevent Drug Abuse. What I brought to the table defined it's own value. Search on info.com. Preventingdrugabuse.net or .com is number one. I do not have NIDA's 900 Million budget. In gold mining, there might be only a few hundred dollars in the gold trap. Yet, there could be a million, will not know until it is cleaned out. The gold might just be the historical value of the gold trap, I do not know. It's a hard life down in the canyon living in a tent, plus the bears, mountain lions, and all the other critters. Maybe someone in America would be interested in a real life LOST GOLD TRAP story. If someone knows someone or can direct me to the correct people, life will be good to you.
