I am considering starting a small on-line business that will offer a product with another person. And possibly adding a 3rd person later. The 2 of us are married with adult children. We would like to be sure that our spouses are not involved financially (whether we do good or bad). The reason the 3rd person will not start with us is that she is in the middle of a nasty divorce. She also lives in a different state that we live in. I would like the business to be passed on to our children. However, we both have 1 boy & 1 girl & chances are the boys will not be interested (other than 1 son is a computer programmer, so he would be the natural web site developer). We definitely will have a lawyer help us with the set up. Any useful suggestions would be appreciated.
