How does one avoid the extra charge for switching from Blackberry to MyTouch 4G...

...data plan? Thanks.? I'm changing from a Blackberry to a MyTouch 4G and I'm told I will be charged $10 more monthly for my data plan - does this sound about right? And if so, is there any way to bypass this charge? I've been a customer with T-Mobile for 5 years and can't believe they will charge extra for this service. Thanks a mill.
