Question is: “Despite an individual’s longing to belong to a group or community, this is not always possible.” How is this explored in As You Like It and a substantial text of your own choosing?

"The concept of belonging is centred around notions of identity, relationships, acceptance, and understanding. Thus, in order for an individual to feel a sense of belonging in their community, they must feel the support of others, and a sense of worth within their society. However, despite an individual’s desire to belong, this is not always possible. This concept of not belonging is explored in Shakespeare’s As You Like It and Nathaniel Hawthorne’s The Scarlet Letter through the characters’ experiences and notions of self-identity in a particular community or setting. In both texts, characters face obstacles which inhibit their sense of belonging to a community because society’s values conflicts with their own. This imparts a sense of alienation to the individual because, though he or she may desire to belong and be accepted for being different, this is not always possible. When this occurs, a thorough understanding of oneself is essential before we find our place in society again."
