Okay well it is set in what is known as the Unites States today. The division between the liberals and the conservatives becomes so much that nothing ever get's passed and the country is being divided between the far left and the far right. So in the year 2046 they agree to form the blue states and the red states as independent nations. The independents are "given" the west coast. The conservative nation is called Andora, they control what are today the Southern states, it's capital (formerly Houston,Texas) is called "Bushigan" a portmanteau of George Bush and Ronald Reagan. The liberal nation is called Tascalo, they have the Nothern and Midwestern states in their control. They name their capital "Kenivelt" (formerly New York , after JFK and FDR.). Tascolo receives more foreign aid... because they have better relations with foreign nations. The central character (currently unnamed) is a resident of Kenivelt. He has recently entered college and due to his upbringing us very left-wing beliefs. He was born in 2047 one year after the formation of the sovereign countries. He is in the Tascolonian army, and soon might be sent to combat in the independent's nation (Nahibli).Although Nahibli is small geographically...it has a very powerful military and the strongest economy of the three nations. The president has started aggressive invasions into Tascolo, and the country is soon having to train many people for combat against Nahibli. Andora has made a breakthrough in sucsessfully landing the first human on Mars. The unnamed character is sent to combat in L.A, and the city us wiped out in a massive helicopter invasion. This is as far as I have written so far
