How is Jerusalem covered with so many layers that one can see all the way back to pre temple period in the same spot? How does the land get higher and higher?
How can a street from herodian times cover up artifacts from times before him? Would they have paved on top of other things?
if there are indeed so many eras in one spot doesn't that mean that land is like 200 meters higher then it was a few thousand years ago? How could land that high?
