I am an NYC resident and will be a 1st time student going to community college. My tuition for community college is $1,575.00 (per semester I gues Fall and Spring which will be the overall total of 3,500). I was given a total in financial aid(Pelland tap) $2,839.50. For the fall and spring semester. Meaning the overall total would be $5,679. Is that going to be enough money for me to pay for college tuition? I am confused on how tuition work? will any money have to come out of my pockets excpect for books and transportation?
Also are classes covered under tution meaning its not 2 seperate fees?
